SALUTATIO AT THE HOUSE OF PANSA |
This brief QuickTime movie shows a typical scene from the morning salutatio: the paterfamilias, flanked by two of his slaves, is approached by a working class client coming to pay homage. The camera zooms back from behind the paterfamilias, then turns around and shows the viewpoint of the client as his patron looks up to greet him.
