No description of the Macellum will appear at this time. The camera icons are active and provide general views of the building. The colors refer to several building projects that comprise the Macellum. These projects are discussed in detail in my article, "Problems of Chronology, Decoration, and Urban Design in the Forum at Pompeii," AJA 98 (1994) 629-694. (Please note that the side walls of the sacellum should be colored magenta, as is the perimeter wall, and not white.)
